the landscape architecture division of blondie’s, j mendoza gardens, is led by jeff mendoza. trained as a sculptor, jeff leads a team of landscape architects and horticulturists to create gardens and landscapes that artfully manipulate space, volume and color. jeff has worked on a large variety of projects for both corporate and residential clients. his solutions to the complicated problems of urban rooftop gardening are admired for their originality and beauty.
jeff’s designs feature refined structural and architectural garden elements seamlessly complement existing site conditions. also significant is the level of plantsmanship exhibited in all projects. jeff carefully selects and places plants to maximize their effect both as single specimens and in larger plant compositions. jeff’s city and country gardens have been published internationally in numerous books and magazines including house & garden, garden design, horticulture and the journal of the royal horticultural society.
