Pantone recently announced its 2023 Color of the Year:
Viva Magenta.
The brand describes the shade as a “crimson red tone that presents a balance between warm and cool”.
Pantone highlights a color each year that reflects the current culture, and said Viva Magenta “merges the richness, warmth, and strength of natural material with the rich, open horizons of the digital world. The result is a shade of red that expands our horizons of authenticity.”
How to Incorporate Viva Magenta into Your Plantscapes
Invite the color indoors with live floral arrangements:
Roses, Lilies, Ranunculus and Dahlias all capture magenta tonal qualities.
Think decor!
Accent tables, throw pillows, or outdoor rugs can all introduce the vibrancy of magenta.
Bring on the paint…
Adding this color to a window frame, wooden door or signature piece of furniture can make a garden space buzz with intentionality.
Plant it up !
